HOW I EDIT MY INSTAGRAM PICTURES

Time to get back into blogging with a little tip that i get questioned about alot.

Probably the biggest question I get from friends and followers is how I edit my photos and what app do I use. More recently  Ive changed it up a little bit on my feed to bring a more vintage vibe to my photos. Ive always been drawn to the moody film aspect of photography that really captures the viewer, so i figured, why not implicate it into my overall aesthetic.

If you're cheap like me and dont want to spend hundreds of dollars on software like lightroom and photoshop then you'll take the more inexpensive road less travelled. Here are the tools youll need. VSCO NEBI  and AFTERLIGHT (these may not be free)

When you've got all your apps, choose a photo and add the filter of your choosing from vsco. (Editing process Does not have to be in any order, do what youd like) (For my photos i typically use J2, A6, A8, A4, and FP8 for the minimal moodyy effects). Then i add at least 30%- 50% grain. Don't be afraid to play with the exposure and contrast as well. For the filmy look use nebi and after light. Use snapspeed and tinker with the white balance for warmer tones and tints.
